In order to leverage existing ministerial informational assets and achieve rapid efficiency gains, the ECA-Mobile provides access to the normative framework of I-CLSC, an application already available in CLSCs across the province and used by all home care clinicians.

In real time, the ECA-Mobile allows clinicians to access and update information related to the I-CLSC normative framework. To this end, if offers the following major functionalities to clinicians:

• searching for users;
• searching for service episodes;
• assigning a sub-program to an episode;
• assigning an intervener to an episode in the sub-program;
• viewing the interveners assigned to the user in the sub-program;
• terminating a sub-program or intervener assignment;
• creating an intervention or one-time activity;
• managing related interveners;
• viewing the history;
• consulting the caseload.
