The primary objective of the ECA-Multi solution is to optimize the clinical efficiency of a patient’s clinical pathway. Based on the target by the program of clientele, results to date are as follows:

• minimum 10% increase in time devoted to patient care;
• 15% to 35% decrease in patient stay time; and
• 15% to 35% increase in patient placement on wards.

These gains are possible thanks to directsharing of clinical information, continuous improvement of each patient’s clinical pathway, and better orchestration of multidisciplinary team interventions.

Thus, more time is now devoted to direct patient treatment, and consequently, less time is spent on indirect administrative operations.
