Designed to support clinician interdisciplinarity, the ECA-Multi allows for the collection, sharing, reuse and measurement of clinical information on a patient’s clinical pathway in order to orchestrate the direct intervention of a multidisciplinary team.

The ECA-Multi is focused on patients and their clinical pathways. It enables direct gathering of all clinical patient information to be shared among clinicians. To this end, if offers the following major functionalities to both clinicians and managers:

• sharing alerts or warnings;
• viewing medications prescribed;
• checking the patient care history;
• completing and viewing a therapeutic nursing plan (TNP);
• completing and viewing the treatment plan for each discipline;
• consulting all of the observations, notes and reports;
• viewing a clinical path scorecard; and
• generating clinical and administrative reports.
